White House Covid officials are on the move and they have been working diligently to make the best of the coronavirus situation which is not going so well in the United States. They have called for all the private employers to take the steps that are necessary for a time like this too. They are ordered to mandate vaccines at a briefing that was held on a Tuesday, this Tuesday to be precise.
If you keep up with the news, you will know that this is actually just one day after the Food and Drug Administration or more popularly known as the FDA, short forms are always easier in the cases, this was just after the FDA had granted full approval to Pfizer vaccine. This is the first vaccine that has been given FDA approval. The people seem to be at ease because of this. There had been many people who did not want to take the vaccine because none of them had the FDA approval yet. So this might smooth things out a little.
Many or several of the companies who are directly involved in this have responded to this surge in Covid cases. This was mostly in the summer and they have taken the step in by rolling out vaccine requirements. This differs from one company to the other and according to that particular company, there have been mandates for all of the United States or just a part of it. And this is included of their staff. There are several companies that are taking the right steps, some of them are Google, Facebook, and United Airlines. But there are also several other companies that have avoided vaccine mandates.
But now that there is an FDA-approved vaccine in the market and the situation is not getting any better, the White House officials are putting a lot of pressure on these companies to get a vaccine mandate for their employees as soon as possible. This is a good move on the part of the government and we might go as far as to say that it is a well-needed move as well.
