U.S. Covid Cases Fall to Less Than Half of Peak Delta Levels

The cases of the coronavirus do go down when the wave passes over. This is how we are seeing the cases that are going down in the USA. Now at a point in the peak, we see that the people are getting less infected now even when the delta variant is raging in the country. This goes to show that the wave must be over. Now, as we look at the statistics, we see that the number had gone down even more than half of what had been at the peak of the cases.

This is indeed some good news that we see at the moment. It’s true that the delta variant is more dangerous and contagious than any other of the variants that we have seen to date. It has been causing a lot of problems.

“Personally, I’m optimistic that this may be one of the last major surges, and the reason for that is because so many people have been vaccinated, and also because a lot of people have had Covid,” said Dr. Arturo Casadevall, chair of molecular microbiology and immunology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The immunity or the herd immunity in the people might be the saving grace for all of us. Of course, that still doesn’t mean that you can not get the coronavirus, so you need to be careful too. Take care of all the precautions, and do wear the mask in public.

Hospitalization is the only thing that is still quite standard, but that also seems to be going down. So hopefully, we will have a good future with the vaccination done too. This is indeed a lot to take, and people are also getting happy about this news. We are expecting no other bad news for now. We will, however, keep you updated on the news.
