Normal Life Will Return Within A Year, Albert Bourla Predicts

The Pfizer CEO and chairman Albert Bourla said that life will be returning to normal after the year and that the life that we had once known before the pandemic will be returning soon. He also added the need to have annual booster shots in order to keep the virus at bay and save the lives of many people all over the world.

“Returning to normal life will have caveats,” he said: “I do not think that this is the end of the different variants of the coronavirus. This is not me saying that the variants will not continue coming, and I do not certainly think that this will work without the proper measures sure taken. This is me saying that I think that we should be having annual booster shots and that we won’t be able to live our lives without having vaccinations,” Bourla said. “But that, again, remains to be seen.”

Bourla’s prediction had been seen around the country and they have been saying that his plan about when normal life will resume is in keeping with that of Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel. But the normal conditions will not just come to us. We need to make sure that we are taking the right steps in order to make sure that we do get our normal life back.

To make this come true the only viable option that we have is to take annual booster shots of vaccine that will prevent the virus from causing major harm to the body of the people and the patients.

“The most likely scenario that had been going through my head and at least for me it is that, because of the spread of the virus all over the world, and following the pattern, it will also keep on to continue to spread and we will most probably be seeing new variants that are coming out,” Bourla said.

“Also there is the reality that we will have vaccines which will be created in a manner that it will last at least a year, and I think the most likely scenario that can come our as a logical conclusion is annual vaccination, but for now we do not know really, we need to wait and see the data.” Hopefully, the outcome of the situation will be for the better and not worse.
