A majority of the pregnant women that we have found in the United States have not yet taken their Covid 19 vaccine. While it is plausible that there had been more cases among the unvaccinated, we have to be careful about what the outcome is. The data is legit, and we have got this data from the latest data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
According to the data that we have gathered on August 3, we have found out that there is about 3 in 4 pregnant women present in the country. They are all within a particular range, they are actually aged 18-49. All of them were unvaccinated. That is to be noted. Out of the percentage that we have mentioned, 23.9% overall had at least received at least one dose. Where are we getting this data from? Well, we are getting this data from the agency’s Vaccine Safety Datalink. So you can rest assured that they are legit facts.
Vaccination coverage was reported to the statistics department. We have taken this into account, and you will see that there is the lowest number of cases among Hispanic/Latina women (19.2%). They are followed by the Black pregnant women (11.7%). The higher coverage is to be seen and reported among Asian women (35.2%), and then in the midpoint, or mid-place comes to the White pregnant women (26.6%).
The analysis has come from additional safety data on 2,456 women. They are the ones who have received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine was actually taken before 20 weeks of pregnancy. What are the results that can be found among these? Well, there had been varied results, but the statistics show that the results are indicating an approximate 13% miscarriage rate. That’s concerning, but there is no evidence to show that the miscarriage is caused directly by the vaccine.
The situation is not good, and the expecting mothers have to go through a lot because of this. However, researchers are trying their best to come up with a solution to this problem as soon as possible.
